Existing (original) oil guns have a very large (around 40) number of parts. More the number of parts/components less the reliability. Also, with the choice of material (cast brass/ bronze) the guns Head & Tail are prone to cracking during handling, assembly etc and are impossible to repair. These parts are also prone to theft by vandals. Copper clad asbestos washers hitherto used needs replacement each time. They also damage the mating faces of Head & Tail. Large number of spares necessitates carrying and maintaining large cumbersome inventory. Failure is frequent, and so is risk of fire let alone the guns non-availability.

FALCON gun has only 5 parts in the removable portion. Head & Tail are in AISI SS 304/ CF8 grade investment cast (Waste Wax Technique). Tip is made of work hardening steel, Bohler series H525 or nearest equivalent SS AISI 310S material. A flat pre-cut Champion ‘59’ OIL grade gasket is re-usable at least 20 times. Gun is sturdy, strong, very safe, and very reliable and has exceptionally long life. Very minimum of spares need to be carried on inventory. Longest MTBF and shortest MTTR is observed and guaranteed. Fine atomisation is achieved, giving strong, healthy flame with optimum combustion.Design patented in India.
